No Win, No Fee
You only pay our fee if your HRP claim results in backdated arrears paid to you following correction of your National Insurance record. This can include State Pension arrears and any linked Pension Credit arrears.
If no arrears are paid, you pay £0. There are no upfront fees.
What Does “Successful” Mean?
A claim is considered successful only if it results in backdated arrears paid to you as a result of the HRP correction.
- This can include HRP-related State Pension arrears and linked Pension Credit arrears.
- We do not charge any fee on ongoing weekly or monthly State Pension increases.
- We do not charge on ongoing Pension Credit.
Our Fee
Our success fee is 30% of the arrears you actually receive, plus VAT at 20% on our fee. In practice, this means the total you pay is 36% of the arrears you actually receive.
We calculate the fee based on the net arrears you receive, after any deductions DWP must make to repay a debt, sometimes called a “set-off”.
How the Fee Is Calculated
If DWP pays you £2,000 in arrears and £300 is set off to settle a debt, the net arrears received by you are £1,700.
How Is the Fee Paid?
For HRP-related claims, any arrears are paid directly to you. HMRC will not make a payment to Kensbridge, and DWP will only pay arrears directly to you.
- If you receive arrears, you agree to pay our success fee within 7 days of receipt.
- We will send you an invoice and a clear breakdown showing how the fee was calculated.
- If payment is late, we will send reasonable reminders.
- If you need more time, you can contact us to discuss the calculation and possible payment options.
- If there is still no engagement, we may send a final written notice before formal recovery steps as a last resort.
If you are worried about paying, please contact us so we can discuss options.
What Happens If My Claim Fails?
If no arrears are paid to you, you pay nothing.
